DEAL Group has the ability to deploy highly skilled teams to undertake a wide range of consultancy assignments and specific requirements.

 

An example of our work in this area is a project to Identify Displacement Activity following activities undertaken to stimulate self-employment in disadvantaged areas of Newcastle. The project involved identifying growth oriented businesses started as a result of support received, assessing the nature and effectiveness of the business support services related to the start-up activities and assessing the extent to which businesses created displaced those already existing.

 

The second part of the project then involved an assessment of Local Multiplier 3 (LM3) in order to gain a broader understanding of the impact of businesses started in the local economy.

 

Other examples undertaken by DEAL Group include undertaking a skills analysis of business advisers for UK Trade & Investment, developing a concept for a national SME academy in Saudi Arabia, preparing ‘how to...’ guides for the IFC World Bank, and developing key performance indicators for the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship.
